¡¡ Located along the riverside development
belt to the east of the city, Haimen Fine¡¡Chemical Industrial Park
consists of two parts, the eastern Haimen Lingdian Industrial Concentration
Zone and the western Haimen Qinglong Chemical Industrial Park.
The western Qinglong Chemical Industrial Park is situated at Qinglong
Harbor on the northern bank at the mouth of the Yangtze River. It
is only 1 kilometer away from the Chonghai Bridge which would start
construction soon, and join the Ningqi Expressway 4 kilometers to
the north. With its unique location, advantageous investing environment
and industrial superiority, it has become a most attractive and
potential investment resort in the neighborhood of Shanghai. The
park has realized "Seven-Connection and One-Completion"overall,
with a complete infrastructure of roads, vapor, sewage disposal,
etc. At present, there are 25 enterprises which have invested 1.5
billion Yuan in total in the park, and 9 projects under construction
amounting to 1 billion Yuan.
The eastern Lingdian Industrial Concentration Zone is located along
the bank of the Yangtze River, 20 kilometers to the east of the
city. The layout area is 1450 hectares. It specializes in Fine chemical
industrial development, aims to be a new green ecological chemical
town to the north of Shanghai, integrated with industry, commerce,
logistics and residence. The preliminary development zone is reclaimed
from Lingdian sandy shoal. Now, the park is finished with infrastructure
projects, e.g. road-building in the eastern 2200 mu. The park adheres
to the principle of high standard and high demand, enlarges the
industry scale and reinforces its brand effect, takes Fine chemical,
bio-pharmaceutical, macromolecule material as its preferred industries,
aims at forming a characteristic product chain with good market
potential and nuclear competitiveness. So far, the agreements have
been signed on over 10 projects, total investment amounting to 3
billion Yuan. Project identification and application for approval
are in process.
Haimen Fine Chemical Industrial Park will focus its construction
on technological content and project scale. It sticks to the harmonious
development of economy and environment, endeavors to build into
a green ecological industrial park of reasonable programming layout,
characteristic industrial orientation, comprehensive infrastructure
equipments and comfortable eco-environment. It aims to be the major
economic growing polar of Haimen.
